Assoc. Prof. Iliyana Stoeva, DSc

Assoc. prof. Iliyana Stoeva, DSc graduated in Faculty of Stomatology, Medical University – Sofia in 2002. She began her academic career in 2004 as a PhD student and assistant in the Department of Oral and Imaging Diagnostics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Sofia. She earned a PhD degree in 2009 with the a dissertation “Intraoral contact hypersensitivity to prosthodontic biomaterials”. In 2010, Iliyana Stoeva specialized in Prosthodontics. In 2010 she was appointed as an assistant in the department of Imaging Diagnostics, Dental Allergology and Physiotherapy at Faculty of Dental Medicine in Plovdiv. In 2012, she became an Associate Professor. In 2015, she specialized in Dental Clinical Allergology. Since 2020, she is a Head of the department of Imaging Diagnostics, Dental Allergology, and Physiotherapy, as well as Vice Dean for Research Activity. In 2023, he earned his Doctor of Sciences degree with a dissertation "Work-related skin and respiratory symptoms among dental staff." Her research interests include sensitizing potential of dental biomaterials.
