Prof. Dr Angelina Vlahova, MD

Prof. Angelina Vlahova works in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry of the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Medical University – Plovdiv. She graduated her university education in 2005 in FDM-Plovdiv. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department from 2007 and a specialist of Prosthetic Dentistry from 2010. She became a regular PhD student in the Department the same year and her final defense was after 2 years, in 2012. She became a Chief Assistant Professor in 2013, an Associate Professor – in 2015 and a Professor – in 2019. She was chosen for a Head of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry in March 2020 and 2024. From 21.12.2023 is a Dean of FDM-Plovdiv.
   

Prof. Angelina Vlahova has two monographies in Bulgarian and one in English, 3 textbooks, two of them in English, more than 150 articles and more than 140 oral and poster presentations on congresses in Bulgaria and abroad, and also theoretical-practical courses. She has more than 200 citations.
   

Prof. Angelina Vlahova works with students, post-graduation and PhD students in FDM-Plovdiv. She has lecture courses of Clinics of Prosthetic Dentistry with 3, 4 and 5th course English speaking students, 3rd course Bulgarian students and lecture courses “CAD/CAM technologies in Dentistry” for Bulgarian and English students. 
   

Prof. Angelina Vlahova works in the CAD/CAM Center of FDM-Plovdiv and CDI with another colleagues. 
   

Prof. Angelina Vlahova has her own private practice in Plovdiv, Bulgaria.
