Prosthodontic considerations for Implant- Supported Mandibular Removable Partial Restorations
Implant support Prosthesis is a popular Procedure since Osseointegration became predictable process. The incorporation of dental implants to mandibular removable partial dentures was suggested to improve function and patient satisfaction.
The purpose of the presentation is to demonstrate the potential and uniqueness of mandibular implant supported removable partial dentures in terms of prosthetic aftercare up to 10 years of follow-up. In order to assess the long-term success of this treatment modality, using healing abutment as a single support and retentive element in Kennedy class I patients. Advantages, disadvantages and potential solutions will be emphasized in order to achieve a long-term implant-supported mandibular removable partial dentures.
