Ass. Prof. Elena Firkova PhD
Ass. Prof. Elena Firkova graduates from Faculty of Dentistry – Plovdiv in 1998. She defended PhD thesis titled “Instrumentation of root surface in chronic periodontitis” in 2005. Since 2010 she is an associate professor in the Department of Periodontology and OMD.
Ass. Prof. Firkova specialized periodontology and implantology in Belgium, Turkey, Germany, and China. She has authored more than 70 publications in Bulgarian and international journals, 1 monograph and 3 textbooks.
