Periodontal surgery: coronary positioned flap to remove single recessions in the frontal area


Modern dentistry is differentiated from the aesthetic point of view of white and red aesthetics. White aesthetics deals with the restoration of hard dental tissues, and red is applied and achieved on harmonious soft tissues, approaching physiological norms. Without achieving these norms, white aesthetics is powerless to achieve a harmonious smile!
The presented clinical case is related to a possible method for restoring the red aesthetic. An operative approach to the elimination of single recessions in the frontal area in order to restore the aesthetic and physiological abilities of soft tissues, as well as an algorithm for the behavior of the dentist in patients with this nosological unit will be presented. The necessary tests, the selection of patients and the methods of preparation for starting surgical intervention.
