CBCT in endodontics: the future is now.

Saturday, 20 February 2021, 13:30 – 15:00

Decision making in endodontics represents one of the most complex processes in dentistry. Two-dimensional imaging diagnosis has always been a crucial moment in defining the diagnosis before and the treatment plan after. We know that the limits of two-dimensional radiology in some situations do not allow the clinician to make an objective evaluation by inserting an interpretative component into the evaluation which in medicine can lead to many errors. The benefits of a rational use of CBCT are numerous, increasing diagnostic capabilities, and reducing endodontic over-treatment. For this reason today it is essential to know the potential of this diagnostic tool that is increasingly indispensable in modern dentistry.
