3rd Scientific Congress 'Science and Practice - Hand-in-Hand'
Preparation junctions for all-ceramic crown and bridge restorations, made by CAD/CAM technology.
CAD/CAM technologies are integral part of the modern Esthetic Dentistry and provide opportunities both for provisional and permanent fixed restorations design and for preliminary planning.
The aim of this Lecture is to present different types of preparation junctions for all-ceramic crown and bridge restorations, made by CAD/CAM technology.
Teeth preparations protocols for single crowns and bridge restorations and opportunities for preliminary esthetic planning will be described. Differences in the preparation for monolithic (full contour) and veneered (framework with additional ceramic mases) restorations will be present in the Lecture, as well as the differences in the teeth preparation in a case of taking digital (by intraoral scanner) and classical impression.
Present CAD/CAM technologies optimize the clinical and laboratory work in the Esthetic Dentistry.
Key words: CAD/CAM, preparartion junctions, fixed all-ceramic restorations
