Tooth extraction in patients with systemic diseases
Tooth extraction is the a common surgical intervention in dental medicine. It is performt daily in all dental practices. Almost in all cases she passed without complications. However, every patients should be treated carefully and responsibility. Like any surgical procedures, it could be risks – during and after surgery. Currently such surgical care is looking for a number of patients with systemic diseases. Most commonly patients with cardiovascular disorders, followed by endocrine disorder, hemorrhagic disease.
In this lecture we present patients with systemic diseases and instancy of surgical interventions in the oral cavity. There are also present some relatively not so common diseases for practice. They are consequence of the treatment with some new molecules in medicine and have unavoidable complications when therapeutic protocols are not using correctly. The most common complications and appropriate treatment approach for such patients are presented. We also focus on algorithm of treatment. The information in the lecture is the basis for better prevention of a number of complications. This is all part of the rules of good medical practice.
Prof. Rosen Kolarov
Prof. Dr. Rosen Kolarov was born on 10th of June 1959 in Sofia. In 1984 he has graduated in Faculty of Dentad Medicine- Sofia. Between 1984-85 he worked as a general partition of dentistry in Dibic, Shumen.
In 1985, he get as assistant Professor at the Department of Surgical Dentistry at Sofia University. Prof Kolarov has specialties in Surgical Dentistry, Maxillo-facial Surgery, General Dentistry and Social Medicine and Health Management. He currently works as Head of Department at the Medical Service. He is a lecturer presenter at the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the Medical University – Varna and at the National Sports Academy “Vasil Levski”. He was the Manager of Specialized Hospital for Active Treatment in Maxillo-Facial Surgery for the period 2001 – 2015. Author and co-author of more than 100 scientific papers and he was cited over 200 times.
Prof. Kolarov is a chairman of the Board of SOS Children’s Villages in Bulgaria.
Prof. Kolarov is a prominent artist-photographer. His photographic experience has been over 35 years. He has participated in over 70 national and international photographic exhibitions and has won over 30 awards including in Japan, USA, Macedonia, Serbia and other countries. He has authored more than 10 solo exhibitions, presented in Sofia and other cities in the country. His exhibitions were shown in France, Poland and Austria
He has a certain articles in our and international press. His photographs are present in Oslo press-museum and the Fine Arts Museum “A. S. Pushkin “in Moscow.
He was a lecturer presenter in New Bulgarian University – Department of Visual Arts, disciplines “Surfaces, Structures and Detail” and “Photo-Documentary Studies”.
At Sofia University he present “Photojournalism”.
He has participated repeatedly in the jury of photographic competitions. He is a member of the “Yanka Kyurkchieva” Photographic Academy and is the winner of the Academy statue.
